1969. Tour de France, Giro, Liège-Bastogne-Liège, Milan-San Remo. Merckx didn't win the season — he ate it. The Belgian press called him "le cannibale". The name stuck. The legend was carved.

This tee is our tribute. Deep black — the colour of asphalt at midnight. EDDY MERCKX in heavy condensed type, "le cannibale" in script italic underneath, "1969" tabac stamp at the base.
